Pastor Marcus Morrow and I was born on June 12, 1967 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He grew up in a loving Christian home in Hurdle Mills, NC. (Reverend Albert and Betty-Ruth Morrow).
Pastor Morrow graduated from Orange High School in Hillsborough, North Carolina in 1985, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Music, with a concentration in voice and trumpet, from the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, NC. Pastor Morrow is in pursuit of various degrees and believes in the importance of exemplifying what it means to be a lifelong learner.
Pastor Morrow founded the Victory In Jesus Ministries of North Carolina, Inc. church of Hillsborough, NC in 1996 where he has served for over 27 years, through preaching the gospel and leading worship using his musical gifts.
On April 15, 2016 Pastor Morrow released an award-winning freshmen project entitled “I Can’t Explain”. He was nominated for the 2017 Rhythm of Gospel Music Awards in the Categories of: EP/ Digital Album of The Year, Contemporary Male Vocalist of The Year and Traditional Male Vocalist of The Year by the National Independent Gospel Music Association. On June 24th, 2017 he received awards in 2 categories: EP/Digital Album of the Year and Traditional Male Vocalist of The Year.
Through skillful exegetical handling of the Scriptures, along with a personal and simple approach to the Gospel, he has witnessed the power of GOD move in his life and ministry. Pastor Morrow is excited about how it continues to manifest change in his community.
Pastor Morrow has been happily married to Marinda Upshur Morrow for over 32 years and has 3 children, (Mario 34, Marisha 34 and Marquiese 28). Pastor Morrow is proud to have a family that assist him in every facet of ministry.
Together he, his wife and children serve as a model for countless families, Christian couples, pastors, and ministry leaders.
