For the fi rst fi ve years of my twenties, I searched so eagerly to

fi nd ‘the one’. I went to my friend’s weddings, offi ce parties every

weekend, and had been on too many dates to count. Above all,

none of these women stood out to me, I never truly felt anything

for them. I had fi nally come to a point in my life where I gave up

searching. I had no idea where to look and most importantly, who

she would be. I went about my everyday life, fi nally accepting the

fact I would die alone. It wasn’t until one day, I met a woman in a

taxi and my search for love was over.

My name is Valarie Umar, I am a mother of two with a long time

aspiring childhood dream of becoming a successful author. I am

delighted to have the opportunity to self-publish again, with

this being my second book. I know the passion for writing was

gifted to me and it is something I want to share with everyone.

This story was derived from the pain and thoughts I once had

in my life, and that is what makes this story so special. I hope
