Think about this for a second when you start a new relationship whether companionship or friendship, for you to get to know the other person you must spend time together, Right? Same thing with God you must spend time with him and the only way to do so is to read his word.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1

Throughout my entire life I have had some highs and lows but one thing that remained constant my worship, prayer and my faith. It all made me stronger but most of all I got closer to my Father. It is your time my dear sister, I love you and I believe in you.

Tempesst Walker born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. I am an ordained minister, mother, a prayer warrior, and now author. It brings me great joy and purpose to encourage women wherever I go, whether that is in the grocery store, social media, via texting or prayer. That’s my life. In life you will have trouble, but the truth of the matter is at times it will make you doubt or even turn your back on God which is why I wrote A Closer Walk.
