This is the first children's book Megan has written. Every summer Megan and her siblings would pack up and spend lots of time at her grandparents' extraordinary and beloved property, coined the Funny Farm. Megan began this book as a Christmas gift for her Nana, and she decided to self-publish it to share the magic of the Funny Farm with her young daughters, MacKenzie and Charlotte—and with anyone else whose hands it may reach.

Megan was born and raised in a small town in Northern California. Following high school graduation, she headed south to Cal Poly University, where she graduated with a Business Administration Degree and a minor in Psychology. After college, she settled in San Francisco, California, where she currently resides with her husband Howie and two young daughters, MacKenzie and Charlotte. Megan works full-time as a marketing professional in San Francisco's high-tech industry.

Once upon a time, a high school teacher told Megan she didn't have the skills to be a writer. Megan wants to remind adults everywhere that words matter and kids are listening, so please speak to them in ways that lift them. She wants to thank a particular teacher, Mrs. Catherine Herlin, for raising her back up.
