These topics include suicide, sexual assault, heartbreak, love, and irony. The goal of the book is to spread experiences as well as awareness regarding the traumatic topics included within the book.

Bee Hilby, a student at Loras College, started writing at a young age. As she grew up in a military family, she found her experiences changed along with her writing skills. She found an outlet in poetry and decided to use it to share some of her more traumatic life experiences as well as other important people in her life. She loves writing, reading, and video games. She currently lives in Illinois.
