Just imagine the God of the universe trying to get your attention, and you must have some life experiences in order to see it that way. This poem is a gift for me and will be a gift for those who are ready to receive it. Life can be hard and very trying at times. It will make you feel like you have lost the battle and you want to throw in the towel. But there is a small mustard seed part of you that keeps saying you can make it! You got this! That small feeling is all you need to get through it all! With faith, willingness and belief, this poem will help you to understand that you are not alone. Dark areas in life will come that you may not understand why. They will also flee when you come to understand that this too shall pass, and there is a much bigger picture at the end. Don’t ever give up! Just give it to God.

Native of Marietta, GA. I was born 4th to my mother and 12th to my father. Having a true compassion for food at an early age, I pursued culinary school after receiving my GED at the age of 19. With dreams of traveling the world and preparing delicious cuisine, I had no idea of the life choices that would lead me to different paths of things I had never imagined. I became a mother for the 1st time at the age of 16. This changed me dramatically. These life changes and many dark pathways helped me to seek God in my life. Since writing this story, so much of my relationship with God has grown. I am always working to be a better person than I was the day before. I have been blessed with 4 children, 3 grandchildren and a loving Husband. I can truly say, God sees me!
