Just Breathe is a collection of poems, written over the past 8 years, following the loss of our only daughter. These poems and short stories depict a Mother’s grief and act as on outlet towards healing just a little bit. Hopefully others will appreciate these works and can find solace if the reader is also a bereaved parent! KELSEY lives on in our hearts and souls and my hope is to help others express their pain and grief through prose and poetry. Just Breathe is my mantra and I thought it a fitting title for this book.

The author, Maureen Gordon was born and raised in Massachusetts and currently lives in southern New Hampshire with her husband, Matthew, and their two dogs; Riley and Jerome as well as their cat Tipsy. Maureen is a retired Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and has been journaling and writing poems and songs since the age of 14. She has poured out her broken heart and has decided to share her poems relating to her tragic loss…
