Hi, my name is Michael Mullman, the author of this book. I was born March 19, 2012, and live in New Jersey. I live with my mom, dad, younger sister Lili, and the best pup on the planet, Bellini. When I’m not writing, you can usually find me doing what most eleven-year-old boys do: playing with friends, watching or playing sports (go Rams!), or beating my dad at a competitive game of chess.

I started writing at the age of six. I have always loved to write and allow my imagination to go wild. I usually would write about animals and history because those are two areas I really love to learn about. I have found that whenever I am feeling anxious, nervous, or even overly excited, I start to write. Writing has helped take my mind to a place where I can be carefree and creative.

A fun fact about Lost is that it was actually an idea I came up with for a short story school assignment. Once I started writing it, I realized that I wanted to keep going with this and make it a chapter book. I hope you like it as much as I do!
