James Xu immigrated to the United States in 1989. Following his graduation from The University of Connecticut with a Ph.D. degree, James embarked on a technology career in Corporate America. There are about 170 intellectual properties worldwide, including 20-some US patents credited to him. James also published about 30 technical papers. James had been a GE engineer and manager for the last 15 years. He loves to read autobiographies and biographies of modern atomic scientists as well as historical figures in the earlier Republic of China. During his technology career, James recorded genuinely his observations and feelings in events that impacted and impressed him. James is currently living with his wife in Schenectady, New York.
