Sydney Jean Kempin has a big passion for writing stories.

She loves sloths and loved the idea of making a story about them.

Sydney is 11 years old and has an identical twin and little brother.

She hopes to publish another book soon. She feels the rainforest,

how animals (Like the three toed sloth) are going extinct, and deforestation

is really important and that we need to pay more attention to it.


James Bissell is Sydney’s 70 year old grandpa and he loves painting and

had loads of fun putting his drawings together for his granddaughter’s story.

He lives in Spruce Grove Alberta.
