This book is a testament that true love conquers all, no matter what kind of relationship it is, as long as everyone is willing to live in their truths. But there is one thing that Jessa vows to take to her grave, and hopefully, that one thing won't be the thing to end it all.

Latoya Middleton-Cooper professionally known as Elle Cooper was born in Brooklyn, New York, on June 28 1974. Latoya was raised in one of the most notorious projects of East New York, Louis H. Pink Houses. One to never lose focus of her dream to one day become an author, she set out to finish her first urban love story. Always having a knack for the way she could imagine stories, she began to writeher first book in 1995. It's not only until the pandemic hit that she found the time to finish her first project titled What Happened Was. She credits all of her figment imagination to the one place she will always call home, 21JUMP. The love that Latoya has for her family is immeasurable. Every single word that has been written and will be written is for all of them, all of it.

I was so caught I couldn’t put it down till the end!

I loved the story however by chapter 16 I thought I knew the ending, then by 30 I had another conclusion and I was wrong again. So all the ways till chapter 34 in one day because I couldn’t wait to find out what happened next! The title what happened was fits this book perfectly

I Really loved the book I couldn't put it down, each character felt so real. My best part was the way Jessa and rick's Love and Loyalty got them through all obstacles.im super proud of you ,you did an amazing job and the way you ended part 1, I can't wait until part 2. Love TC♥️

Amazing Amazing

Ms. Cooper I had no idea how creative you are and I'm so impressed with your creativity. I literally felt like I was apart of each scene. I loved how strong Jessa was and all that she endured she faced head on like a strong black woman does. I can't wait to see what else you have in store Ms. Cooper keep PUSHING!!!
